When it comes to selecting a suitable gas analysis system there is lot of choice of dedicated mass spectrometer solutions, which are very good but with a price tag to match!

There are also many manufacturers of Residual Gas Analyers (RGA’s) - essentially a small mass spectrometer - that can be used as part of a low-cost gas analysis system. However, the strength and expertise of the RGA manufacturers lies in selling instruments rather than gas monitoring systems.

At SS Scientific we specialise in taking a standard Residual Gas Analyser and integrating it into a custom-built gas monitoring system to produce a bespoke, cost-effective solution. We offer a versatile range of Packaged Solutions with three variants based on the latest smart head quadrupole mass spectrometers, with miniature dry pumping technology, that fulfil over 90% of possible applications. For more specialised requirements we can build a customised system for the price you would normally expect to pay for a standard system.

	A fully integrated Packaged Solution. Connects directly to your vacuum system and is offered with the option of manual or electro-pneumatic valve kits for sampling.
	A self-contained, portable Solution. The small suitcase sized instrument contains everything for instant results displayed on an LCD monitor built into case lid.
	A self-contained, bench top Solution. Choice of inlet systems to suit your application.
	Anything you specify. For example, Light bulb manufacturer supplied with system to perform quality assurance tests on bulb gas filling; Brewer supplied with automatic multi-point sampling to monitor gas impurities in process gas during delivery and processing.

SS Scientific does not manufacture a Residual Gas Analyser, but our knowledge and experience of the RGA market can help you select the right instrument at the heart of your system to give the optimum price / performance specification. In fact, SS Scientific is part of the supply chain of component parts to many RGA manufacturers which puts us in a great position to advise, supply and support RGA Solutions, both in instruments and gas monitoring systems - you can even free-issue an old or new RGA instrument that we will transform in a system Solution.
